Marrakesh is one of the former imperial cities located in the western part of Morocco. The city is an important economic centre and hosts palaces, mosques and gardens.
The old town dates back from early in the Berber Empire. In addition, medina is a city with maze-like avenues, where vibrant souks, marketplaces sell traditional fabrics as well as pottery and jewelry.
