What to Expect

We will pick you up from your hotel for a 45 minute drive to the Agafay Desert where you will enjoy lunch in a and then relax with a nice cup of mint tea.

The Agafay Desert, is a wonderful journey through the Agafay Desert, Berber villages and the Atlas Mountains in one day and a stop to ride a camel through breathtaking scenery. During our day trip to Marrakech, you will have the chance to visit a local Berber vilage to experience Berber life. Start our day trip in the Agafay Desert, the closest desert to Marrakech.

A hilly and barren landscape in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, the Agafay Desert is a playground for quad and buggy enthusiasts (optional – not included) with the backdrop of often snow-capped peaks. A popular weekend recreational lake for Marrakchis in the city.

Canoeing, swimming and sailing are popular activities here. Lunch is a quiet local affair, taken outdoors in the Agafay desert, with a home-cooked meal of three courses: Moroccan salad, lamb couscous or perhaps a tasty vegetable tagine, fresh seasonal fruit and tea. After lunch, you will have time to explore and discover, and you will have the opportunity to take photos during this excursion, so don’t forget your camera.

10:30 - 11:30Camel Ride In Agafay Desert

Camel ride in the Agafay desert. Takes place in a part of the desert where the hills and mountains are beautiful. The ride will be conducted by a camel team and driver., will explain the adaptations of the camels. A camel riding instructor will also help you with the riding.

12:30 - 14:00Lunch in the Agafay Desert

Fork and knife at your disposal if you’d like or a finger-handled Moroccan if you don’t take part. You will enjoy an intimate lunch with you family friends or even solo.
